Dahlia

Started the day by taking my wife to the dentist so she could get a tooth pulled. By all appearances it does not appear to be very fun. Between her tooth and my root canal we are certainly doing our bit to support local dentistry.

Our house was basically socked in by fog most of the day, and for all I know it was clear and bright further inland. Of course, that would also have translated into heat and humidity, so I didn't bother to check. Instead I had to rely on this flower by the front porch to provide an approximation of sunshine. I think it's doing a pretty good job.
