Was leading a Ramblers walk around Camelon and Carron this morning, Had a few call-offs due to the Met Office amber alert of extreme temperatures forecast for the area, but the ten of us that set out were rewarded by temperatures (only) around the 24 - 26 mark and we made sure we kept hydrated. It was one of our shorter Tuesday walks and we were finished shortly after 12 noon, by which time the temperature had risen to around 29/30.

It's not often Camelon and Carron have temperatures similar to those in Casablanca and Cancun, but today was one such day. The cafe at Tesco was nice and cool for our post-walk refreshment stop, and the shower and change of clothes when I got home was even better.
