Lamb

I decided to read through this little volume of The Essays of Elia by Charles Lamb. I probably bought it in Hay on Wye years ago; there are a number of such books on our shelves, optimistically purchased and only partly read. A few of Lamb’s essays were assigned when I was at university. There’s more richness in them for me now that I know England so well.
I do love my Kindle, but it’s nice to hold a real book sometimes.
