Scorchio!!!

Today the UK melted LOL!  I was secretly hoping the forecasters would get it very wrong, but it was proper hot so very thankful we haven't needed to go anywhere.  Even venturing into the back garden during the afternoon to top up bird baths and feeders was not a pleasant experience - but made slightly better by the ice lolly I treated myself too from the freezer!

But I have put the day to good use in the cool of indoors and written 3 letters to penpals, while watching live coverage of the airshow from Farnborough on Youtube!

At least the sunflowers are enjoying the weather!!  Grew a few from seed this year and this is one of them!
