Someone has been busy!

I noticed several fields being/have been harvested as I drove over to Drymen for a dental appointment this morning. Likewise when I eventually braved the heat for a walk around Balfron in the afternoon.

The weather has been good for the farmers.

A rumble of thunder, followed by a short shower of rain, has brought some relief from the intensity of the heat.
