Slussen

First real day in Stockholm (this year). After a rather busy travelling day yesterday, including only 2 hours of flight, but over 3 hours of bus rides (as Ryanair has its airports more than 100 kilometres away from the respective cities), today was the first proper day in Sweden.

During the day VV had to work. So Julia and I made a rather extensive bike ride and explored the city on our own. I have to admit we both were here several times already, so it was less exploring and more revisiting. When VV finished work, we met up with her and had a few rather expensive, compared to Germany beers in the sun at Slussen (what I think means floodgate), followed by another at a beer garden close to Katharinahissen, concluded with a couple more at an Irish pub.

Pictured is a night shot (around 10 o'clock) from Slussen to the square to the north of it. As always I did not have a tripod - but searching for a steady flat surface could can be fun, too.
