Heatwave Train Journey

I usually head home on Monday evenings after a day with gorgeous grandson but as many trains were disrupted I stayed on an extra night thinking the trains might be a little easier in the morning.

Well, they weren’t!
No local trains all day so son in law dropped me to Southgate tube on his way to work.
Got to St Pancras to find EMR we’re only running two trains northbound today, eek!

I managed to get on the second one, which was also the last of the day.
It was only 9.15am!

So relieved to be home.
It’s just as hot here as London.
