Children’s train

Had a long and busy day today in temperatures of around 35. Very exhausting. Saw some of the sights of Budapest, of which there are many. This afternoon we went on the Children’s Railway. The railway is run primarily by children aged 10-15 years, who take the money, punch the tickets and deal with the trains coming or going at the stations. Adults are around and children don’t drive the train! It was a lovely experience. Here are three children on the platform. Sadly I did manage to fall over getting up the steps of the train but no broken bones!
