Learning to walk, Tanzania

Our local partner in Arusha, Tanzania provides surgery and treatment for disabled children.

This little girl was born with severe club feet. After months of treatment with surgery and plaster casts she is now learning to walk.

If children go home to their villages too soon after treatment, healing is set back. So they are looked after in a lovely homely environment called the 'Plaster House'. Housemothers care for them and nutritious food aids the healing proccess.
