Kanuka (White Tea Tree)

A short walk in (and a short walk to) St Johns Bush. Home to a 150-year-old Kauri tree and dense native bush, a bird sanctuary in our little patch of suburbia. Muddy and slippery when wet, and it has been raining heavily recently.

This Kanuka tree will grow to 15m in height, and perhaps as high as 25m, and outlive you and me both.
