Enjoying the heat

The hen pheasant was really enjoying a quiet time in the sun until she espied us looking through the window.   Very hot today but the next two days are going to be even hotter .....  The lawn is beginning to die but no worries as it will quickly green up when the cooler wetter weather arrives.
