Feather boa

A very pleasant day in the garden, sunny and breezy. Again, no butterflies.
When we came back from holiday my daughter said that the fat balls had run out, I wish I had told her I only put one out per day because the birds demolish them. I tried to buy some of the ones I normally get but they are out of stock. I think it is not a coincidence that there are very few birds in the garden this week, some sparrows, dunnock and goldfinches on the sunflower feeders but no blue tits or coal tits who tend to go for the fat balls.
