Boating

I walked back from Salford Quays to Manchester City Centre tonight, the first time since I was hit by Covid and then some hot weather. I had taken the tram this morning as the weather forecast wasn't exactly promising, though in the end there was no rain. The weather really has gone mad, no rain in Manchester!

As I passed Lock 89 on the Rochdale Canal, someone was opening the sluices on the gates, it wasn't until I got to Lock 88 that I saw the boat that was coming.
