Growth in progress

The little eyes are opening millimetre by millimetre.
Keeping up the head to peep for food (we have started to hear them peeping) is still tiring. But they are getting higher and higher, reaching for the food.
Mum and dad both provide their hatchlings with worms; mama keeps inspecting the bottom of the nest, listening carefully. We assume that she does hear movements in the egg(s).
