another red heat warning, another record temperature... off up into eco park before it got too hot... and then in the afternoon the gathering clouds, a distant peal of thunder, another closer, flashing skies and the downpour began, a frenzied couple of hours offering a welcome coolness to the air, enough to run outdoors and then open the window for a bit... later the heat resumed, the evaporating downpour offering an insane level of humidity beyond nightfall...
