A diary of sorts

Back to the Aonach Eagach Ridge on a day with record temperatures.

A route that I really do love, my first Munro was on the ridge back in January 2001, it was also the route that reinvigorated my love for the mountains back in 2019.

Out and back route starting in the east and turning back at Stob Coire Lèith to do it in the opposite direction for the first time.

Fantastic day in the heat with dry grippy rock, a clear view of the ridge (a first!), Mountain Goats at 600m, low flying F15's thundering through Glen Coe (what a sight!) finished off with a swim in the warm pools of the River Coe and a pint in the Clachaig.
