Snowing up North

It's the pile behind the Ice rink.It's slowly disappearing in this heat.
Out with the dog I went around the allotments and chatted to Alan at his pigeon loft.They were getting agitated so he had to let them out.
Sadly he said he has lost some to Sparrow hawks in the past . Can't they tell the difference ??? :(;(:(
Back home I did the usual boring household chores.
