Agapanthus

At the Botanics. Possibly Agapanthus africanus.

No 27 bus to the East gate. Wandered through the rock gardens, found the agapanthus out, and apiaceae eryngium paniculatum (extra) attracting insects. Striking plant, carrot family.
In Inverleith house we walked through the eddy of the stream exhibit. The extra is of alternative materials for rope, intended to be suitable for sea farming. Unusually political background and motivation for the artwork.

Walked back by the Dean bridge and St Mary's. The path to the SW of the cathedral is open again.
