Prey

I took dad to collect his new glasses and then out for lunch.

I did a recce around Trentham Gardens late this afternoon before an evening there with my camera club. It didn't feel too promising as it had been a cooler damp day. But I managed to spot a few good opportunities for the macro photographers in the club. 

This included this orb web spider. There were a few butterflies caught by spiders in one area of the grassland. I also spotted my first cinnabar moth caterpillars on the site too.
