St Monans Kirk

St Monans Parish Church has a wonderful location, being at the west end of the village and right on the shore, very close to the works designed to protect it from the sea.

The church building started in 1346. Over the following eight years the church was built at a cost of £613. There have been a couple of renovations during the 700 years since the original building was started.

No sunshine or blues skies today and it has been a bit chillier …. back in trousers and a fleece and hope it gets a bit warmer soon.
