Komorebi

I sit on my usual stone and observe the sunlight streaming through the leaves and between the trees.

The  Japanese word for this phenomenon, komorebi,  is found in haiku such as

夏の木漏れ日    terasareru,
照らされる       natsu no
夏の木漏れ日    komorebi
眩しくて           mabushikute

Illuminating
sun rays of summer filtering the trees,
such radiance
