Butterfly heaven

I had a wander over the back this morning and was entranced by the variety of butterflies.  Gatekeepers, meadow browns, ringlets, a silver-washed fritillary, skippers, whites and my favourite common blue, male and female.  The only downside is putting up with the thistles digging into a whole variety of places and trying to ignore them.

It's been difficult making a choice, but it has to be my favourite.
