Sawston Photo Hunt - Organised be Jenny and Ken

Sawston Photo Hunt - Organised be Jenny and Ken

For a few years now our club has organised Photo Hunts in different locations. It’s a great way to discover different places.

Today was the latest. Ken Bingham and Jenny Collier got together and organised one around Sawston where they both lived. Today was the first day and they both met people from 10am at the start of the hunt. Quite a few people turned up. The photo hunt is ‘live’ now for about 3 - 4 weeks for people to go and find the clues.

We were given 20 photos and a map showing the approximate location. Sue and I arrived at 10:30 and by 14:30 we were able to say we think we found every one of the clues. A couple of them where a bit sneaky but this adds to the fun.

During that 4 hours we managed to fit in a couple of cups of tea / coffee at ‘The Sweet Tea’ cafe plus we eat our packed lunch in the graveyard at the Cambridge end of Sawston.

Sawston is an interesting village and Ken and Jenny have put together a ‘History of Sawston’ information sheet to be read after the hunt. Something I am looking forward to.
