Think I saw a tree bumblebee today enjoying the heuchera.

Out in the garden this morning to dig over a small patch as I have autumn lilies to get in but below 2 inches is just solid compacted. There are some bulbs in there too but no chance at the moment to lift & split.

Not sure wither to water the ground then dry to dig out or to leave to dry out more. Only managed a thin layer & not enough to plant anything in apart from seeds.

Weather is hanging, alittle fine rain but feels thundery, maybe more rain later.
