Answering Questions Before They Were Asked

Outside the new Waterside theatre in Aylesbury is this fine sculpture of Ronnie Barker celebrating the fact that he made his professional debut in the town in 1948. The sculpture depicts him in his role as the prison inmate Norman Stanley Fletcher from the classic 1970s series Porridge. I (Chris) often walk past this spot but it's not that easy to photograph at the moment as behind this spot, major construction work is underway on a new supermarket and hotel!

The blip title comes from the wonderful Two Ronnies sketch, "Mastermind" where the contestant's specialist subject is "answer the question before last, each time". It's mind bendingly good.

Nice to get to Friday and time for a relax.
