Escape

We escaped the horrible inversion layer in Wānaka today by going to the Snow Farm, where it was very sunny. We walked out to the new Musterers Hut (first extra) which was officially opened yesterday by a former Prime Minister, Helen Clark. She and her husband enjoy the Snow Farm a lot.
The hut is fantastic. Sleeps 36 people and can be divided into 2 groups through a sliding wall or maintained as a bigger group. 
I’ve never seen so many people at the Snow Farm!
Driving back down the road, we could see that poor Wānaka was still covered with an inversion layer (extra) - hard to imagine when we had such brilliant sunshine.
Frida and I are tired after our big walk!
