Wild Garlic

My house was built on the site which was originally the garden to the vicarage of Christ Church. After the vicarage was demolished the site was developed into a small cul de sac comprising of 13 houses built around 1982.

I've been told by long standing residents that several gardens in the close occupy the space which was once used as a fairly extensive vegetable patch - the remnants of which is Wild Garlic.

During the spring Wild Garlic completely engulfs my flower beds & can be found scattered across our lawns. The aroma is simply magnificent during mild spring evenings & when the the grass is mowed.
