Slight detour!

We seem to hit all our traffic fun on the way home from holidays, which I suppose is the best way to do it. We were set for a 4.5 hour trip from Gretna back to Lincs but we didn’t anticipate a four car accident on the A66. A serious enough accident to shut the road, bring out fire, police, ambulance and air ambulance. We were fortunate enough to be able to turn around after about 25 mins to find an alternative route.
We decided to ‘meander’ through the North Yorkshire dales, specifically Wensleydale. So after a brunch at a cafe in Orton we headed towards Hawes, Leyburn etc. lots of photo opportunities (and lots of people!!!). Think this shot might be of one of the three peaks but it is a long time since I’ve been up here so don’t know if it is or isn’t
