Pied Wagtail ……

…… stopped briefly, on some scrub grass, just long enough for me to take a quick photo.
In the past I have had little success photographing wagtails ….. they just never stand still. They are quite a common sight down on the shore line where they flit among the rocks and seaweed.

It was farewell to the sea and the sand as I headed back to Glasgow this afternoon.
