Driving through the Sierra Nevada Mountains

For over 190-miles the smoke followed us from a wildfire raging for a third day Sunday outside Yosemite National Park. The Oak fire has burned more than 14,000 acres and forced thousands to evacuate from rural communities.
The fire, which remained 0% contained Sunday morning, began Friday in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada near the small community of Midpines.
Flames tore through trees and sent thick smoke into the sky.
