Beach day

Lovely warm sunny day. We took a while to get up and organised, and A&N stayed at home to chill with Paisley whilst we headed to Wells-NOT-next-the-sea (as we called it given how far away the beach is from the town!).
Drove up to the beach car park but it was full, so headed along to Holkham and parked at the nature reserve and walked through to the beach….. gorgeous. Even though there were so many people it didn’t feel that busy as the beach is so huge.
We did the usual stuff….jumping over waves, building sandcastles, collecting shells, snoozing in the sun, eating sandy sandwiches (extras). Some clouds passing by but a lovely temperature and mainly sunny with a breeze so it was great fun.
Drove back to Wells and met A&N and had a lovely gelato and a wander then home and after showering we tipped into the hot tub for a while. AR loves it so much….!
The next shopping delivery arrived just as A&N got home and they helped unpack it whilst I made spinach pie for supper.
Emails and phone calls about P. He seems to have hospital induced delirium and is convinced he is doomed there. No matter how much we try to explain it’s just his infection/being in hospital that’s caused it he can’t take it in. We eventually got through to a nurse who was helpful and A used all the right nursing terms to establish some rapport with her and get something done. T will go and see him tomorrow as well and hopefully he’ll soon get onto the specialist ward where it may be less confusing for him.
After supper we were all pooped so had an early night
