La Defense

Eurostar cancelled 30 minutes before we were due to check in.

Massive queue of passengers waiting to get another train.

After 40 minutes we got offered an alternative train to Disneyland Paris.

That got delayed as there wasn’t a train crew.

Then there was so we only left a bit late.

We were upgraded so had a free breakfast which I will take as a small bonus.

Train from Disneyland paid for by Eurostar to take us back into Paris and our destination.

5.30 start but all a bit of an adventure and we’re lucky to get away plus we’re not driving and also not stuck in a queue at Dover so all is good, overall.

La Defense is impressive. There’s a view directly along the Champs Elysee towards the Arc de Triomphe. Of course
