Not quite blue

This is a hydrangea at my mother-in-law's. It's not quite blue, but it's more importantly not pink or red. The soil chemistry normally determines their colour, if it's alkali then they tend to end up pink or red, and if the soil is acidic then it's mostly blue. Here Brittany acid soils are the norm and most hydrangeas tend to be blue. Back blip.
