Clouds over the Gulf of Mexico

We drove to Biloxi to go to the Frank-Gehry designed Ohr-O'Keefe (not Georgia) Art Museum. See extra.  When we pulled into the parking lot, this amazing bank of clouds was forming over the Gulf which later turned into storm clouds.  Thunderstorms are a daily occurrence here with these very high temperatures and the warm gulf waters.

Hurricane Katrina which devastated New Orleans with enormous amounts of rain and subsequent breach of the levees, completely devastated this area.  Apparently at one time, there were many magnificent homes along Ocean Boulevard, some of which have now been repaired and fortified for future storms, but many have not been rebuilt and those lots have become park land.
