I woke last night to strange noises coming from my little courtyard area under my bedroom windows.   Looking out I couldn't see anything so followed by my 'un'guard dog I ventured out with a torch and came across two hedgehogs.      I quickly went indoors and grabbed my camera, tried to highlight them with the torch without causing them distress, and take a couple of quick snaps.   By that time the one (in extras) had already made a get away behind a plant pot and the other had hidden his head.    What a treat to see and wonderful there are a pair too.   Luna, as ever, was completely unfazed by this and probably wondered what her crazy 'mum' was playing at in the early hours.
