Shiny

After church on Sunday I drove up to Palacerigg Country Park for a wander round. It was a grey day with a bit of dampness in the air, but I completed my circuit rain free. All that changed as I got back to the car, as the heavens opened and we had a bit of a downpour. Perfect timing as I had made it back with barely a minute to spare!

It was noticeably greener up at Palacerigg than in other places I've walked recently, but I think the rain over the last few evenings has helped in that regard.

The berries looked both colourful and shiny, and I'm sure they will be snapped up by some passing birds before too long.
