The Tap, Eastham

It should have been a photo walk around a nature reserve in Port Sunlight with the camera club, but steady drizzle forced us down the pub. A dreary night ahead. Rain and steel grey skies. So we picked our pub with care. A lively spot on the banks of the Mersey, where petrol heads meet up on Monday nights (extras) and Mersey Morris dancers shift the chairs and tables, clear a space, and dance in the rain. A wonderful evening.
