The Ancestral Home

Check this out....The house you see was my great grandparents farm house. It's still in the family though belongs to the American cousins now. Our house is 5 minutes up the way and 2 fields over from my mum's other cousins house. I love coming here! To this island steeped in family history. To a place where every view, building, path has a memory attached. As my mum likes to say.... "We are so very lucky!" 

In the distance you can see the Skelligs. A magical and beautiful place to visit, an old monastic site, and more recently home to Luke Skywalker.
