Spidey bites the dust

Tiny Tuesday: Spidey bites the dust

The spider has ended up as part of the Marsh warbler's breakfast.  I think this just about qualifies for Tiny Tuesday - well certainly the ex-spider does :-)  Those of you that don't like spiders will no doubt be delighted to see that the Marsh warbler likes to eat them.

Many thanks to Osuzanna for taking on the hosting responsibilities this month.

Its definitely getting to be the quiet time of year for birds.  The courting, nest building, egg sitting, chick feeding and fledgling feeding activities are now just about over for most species.  In the meantime the reeds on the Somerset Levels are getting pretty tall and a number of the hides have either no view or only a limited view.  As some birds are still nesting the reeds won't be cut back for a while yet.

With so much leaf and reed cover and more limited bird activity I may actually need to try to find something else to photograph shortly.
