Achimenes

This is one of my Achimenes plants, now just coming into flower on the window sill in my " office". 
A quiet day involving some admin, hair cut, reading and listening to tonight's Prom concert. The last of these has been the most enjoyable: BBC symphony orchestra conducted by Jordan de Souza playing Bernstein's Candide overture, George Walker's Variations for orchestra, and Tchaikovsky's 4th symphony. However, the highlight for me was the gifted 21 year old Johan Dalene playing Barber's Violin concerto.
