A splash of colour

The council is remodelling our town centre to make it attractive for businesses to relocate their head offices. Cue miles of cycle lanes and vast swathes of colourful paving.
A new town hall is being built too, more in keeping with modern standards. It’s a smaller building, so offices and flats are also going up on the site.
Here are the completed flats, and I can’t help wondering what idiot decided to build them in this dreary brickwork.
