We had our sandwiches today sitting on this memorial bench in Ash Meadow, a little park at Ashprington, which is the epitome of a Devon village. We walked there from Totnes. The village has a church and a perfect pub, the Durant Arms. And … this beautiful bench. Made of oak and love. Bench of the year.
