New cafe

The view from a newly opened cafe - not bad, eh?! Unfortunately, the offerings inside were less interesting; I long for, say, an omelette with a selection of fillings, even a salad bar, or a selection of soups. Instead we have the same old sandwiches and same old fillings, not even a good herbal tea :-(

But, the service was very friendly and the view made up for it, nearly. But such a wasted opportunity ...

We were returning from a friend's funeral. We learnt so much about him from tributes given by others that it felt like we were meeting him again for the first time. RIP Tom.
