A Day At A Time.

Dismay/Delight

A cloudy start to the day means different things to different people.

To the many holidaymakers who have arrived recently, it means a few hours when they can't worship Ra and turn their sickly white skin a horrendous and potentially dangerous lobster red. They are so obsessed with getting a tan that so many overdo it early on, burn badly and peel just in time to get the plane home.

To others like myself, it means a cooler start to the day. A chance to get more done, a quieter day at the beach and generally a blessed relief from the relentless heat that is a Spanish summer. Every summer.

Chacun à son goût, I suppose.
