Juvenile Black-Headed Gull

After many weeks of tripping over geese and goslings the Heritage Park was almost empty of birds. There was a handful of Greylags and one Canada Goose snoozing on the grass …. not a sign of any youngsters but I’m sure they weren’t all ready to fly off.

A few Black-Headed gulls, one being near enough for a photo, a young heron too far away on the island and the swan family in the middle of the loch ….. and that’s the lot.
