Empty Streets

We knew the low season was upon us by the number of (or more accurately lack thereof) people on the beach, but it didn't really hit us until our trip into town for dinner. This view of Zihuatanejo's main pedestrian walk teams with visitors and locals alike during the height of tourist season. Now it is practically vacant on a Friday evening. In fact, we can walk just about anywhere in Zihua and rarely see other white faces, though we often see locals who we have come know. This is when we really feel like we live here are not just on an extended vacation.
