Giraffe About Town ...

An early start to feed cattle then away by 6am to run Littlemiss into school to get the bus to Dumbarton with the pipe band as they are competing there today. Spotted this giraffe ,so stopped for a photo on the way home.
Back home then spent the morning hauling the weaned bullocks out to a field next door.

Then after lunch,headed up to check the fences in one of the hill fields before carting the heifers up . Had all the ones from here done by 7pm,so headed off down the road to feed the heifers there.
Back home by 9 pm then got a text to say they had started cutting winter barley on the neighbouring farm,so hopefully it will stay dry so I can bale the straw sometime tomorrow,among all the other jobs. Hope we will cut our winter barley this week if I can get a shed ready to tip it in!
