Surprise 50th birthday party

A good friend's husband had arranged for a surprise party up at the local pub. We were under strick instructions to not be late as he would arrive with his wife at 7.15pm. We had been told to wait in the small function room until she arrived. It has been another glorious day so the temperature was rising in the small room with about 20 people. By the time she arrived I was sweeting rather profusely!! Not a good look at a party.
Once she arrived we went outside to the beer garden and had a wonderful night with friends. One of the guests daughter made this beautiful birthday cake.
