The Weatherman Told No Lies

A bit of an abstract image. Having a bit of fun.

It has rained all day and so we stayed home and did very little. Although I was up early - just after 6 and by 7 I was so rock and/or roll, I was practising German grammar. Don't worry, I stopped about 9.30 - I know all about the perils of too much of a good thing.

Dinner last night was immense. Even by German portion sizes, these were huge.

I had been told that the garlic bread was especially good and so I tried it. It may have been the closest I've ever been to eating a bit of bread made entirely from garlic. It's some 20 hours later and I can still taste it.

And I'm reliably informed that you would be able to smell it if you were in the same building as me.

Even if that building was the Pentagon and we were on opposite sides of it.

If you go to the Obermühle in Hennethal, eat nothing for at least a day beforehand and then order the spare ribs, their special potatoes and a salad (the healthy bit). Then prepare to be unable to move for at least the rest of the weekend.

Now I come to think about it, maybe the garlic was the reason I was up so early.

Anyway, on with the song bit. Yesterday we had "Where Did Our Love Go?"
and today you get this :-

Wir müssen früher oder später zusammenkommen
Weil die Wende hier ist, und du weißt, es ist richtig
Und du weißt, es ist richtig

The use of "die Wende" here is my invention, if you think of 1989 then you might see why I've used that instead of a more traditional word.
