I made this avatar today to use with Flickr; I'm very pleased that I managed to use Affinity Photo without reading any guide.

I discovered yesterday that SmugMug has hiked its prices by 30%, to $130 for a year – unless I want to pay for two years, for which I'd have to pay $220 – for the Power plan.  I don't use SmugMug enough to warrant that sort of subscription, and I don't like that sort of increase in price, so I'm looking elsewhere.  Flickr is owned by SmugMug but seems better priced for the Pro plan so I'm revising my entries and settings.

An alternative is 500px, with which I have a free account at present, or perhaps I'll just use Google Photos and improve my website's presentation of photos.  So many decisions . . .
